Essential storage

__Host-huben_session (huben_session on local HTTP) is an essential HttpOnly cookie for authenticated access. On HTTPS it is Secure, uses SameSite=Strict and expires within approximately one hour. Optional LinkedIn sign-in uses __Host-huben_return_to, __Host-huben_oauth_flow and __Host-huben_pkce cookies with SameSite=Lax for about ten minutes. On local HTTP the __Host- prefix is omitted.

huben_cookie_consent_v1 in local storage remembers your choice for up to 180 days, after which we ask again. The admin composer uses session storage, huben-send-identity, to prevent duplicate sending. It contains a random send identifier and message fingerprint, not message text or recipient addresses, and lasts for that tab session.

Optional analytics

Analytics is off until you accept. If configured, the site sends limited public-page counts to Google Analytics through its server. No Google script runs in your browser and no analytics cookie is created by this feature. Responses, emails, user identifiers, referrers and query strings are excluded. Advertising and individual journey tracking are not enabled.

Your choice

Accepting and rejecting are both available in the banner. Rejecting does not prevent free access or research participation. Reopen settings below or in the footer. Withdrawal stops new events, disables any legacy tag and attempts to remove legacy first-party Google Analytics cookies; events already transmitted cannot be recalled.

Search Console and operational logs

Search Console domain verification uses a DNS record, separately from analytics. Hosting and security logs are also separate; see the privacy notice. New optional tracking purposes require updated information and consent controls before activation. We do not use advertising cookies.
